GLIAで繋ぐ脳-免疫-学際研究Brain-immunity-multidisciplinary research connected by GLIA

山梨GLIAセンターのホームページへようこそ。本センターは、文科省の卓越研究拠点として２０２１年４月に設立されました。｢GLIA｣は３つの意味を含みます。（１）グリア細胞、（２）グリアの語源であるギリシャ語の｢繋ぐ｣、そして（３）山梨大学が目指す “地域から世界へ” “諸学融合”の精神｢GLocal Interdisciplinary Academy｣です。私達はGLIAにより脳の各種細胞機能、脳と免疫等末梢組織の機能、さらに学内外の異分野研究・教育を｢繋ぐ｣ことで大きな創発を生みだすことを目指しています。

Welcome to the HP of the Yamanashi GLIA Center. This center was established in April 2021 as a center of excellence by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan. GLIA has three meanings. (1) glial cells, (2) the Greek word "glia" meaning "to connect," and(3)"GLocal Interdisciplinary Academy," which is the spirit of the University of Yamanashi's goals of "From Yamanashi to the world" and "Fusion of various disciplines. Through GLIA, we aim to generate significant new discoveries by "connecting" various cellular functions in the brain, brain and peripheral functions such as immunity, and different fields of researches and education inside and outside the university.
